Shaddae Smith is a woman of faith who was born and raised in Mandeville, Jamaica. She values family, community and women empowerment. After experiencing many failures in college, Shaddae developed a negative relationship towards her confidence, health and overall wellness. Through the support of community, she ventured on her own health/wellness journey where she developed a passion for feeding her mind, body and soul daily. Wanting to dress the part, she discovered that QUALITY "athleisure" pieces were not accessible to EVERYONE and that there was not enough representation of Black-owned brands in the health/wellness space. God placed on her heart to create "LEAD Atletiks" as a part of this solution. This name was fitting as her dad instilled in her at a very young age, never to be a follower but to be a leader. Through this brand she does just that by providing access, upliftment and opportunities to EVERYONE despite their backgrounds. Shaddae's deepest wish is that everyone will soon see themselves represented and accounted for here at "LEAD Atletiks." As the brand continues to grow, so will its IMPACT.
